We have a special 915 am Family Eucharist each Sunday that is full of joy and very "kid friendly"! St. Stephen's also has extensive Sunday School and Youth programs with great activities for everyone from babies and toddlers to High School seniors. Nursery care is available every Sunday from 9am to noon.
Our 915 am Family Service on Sunday is very informal and designed to permit the whole family to be really engaged and fulfilled. The children actively participate in the service, while parents are free to relax and enjoy worship without feeling embarrassed if the kids need to do a little [or a lot] of wiggling around. On alternate Sundays, our younger teens from Middle Earth present a dramatic and occasionally melodramatic interpretation of the Gospel.

Our Sunday School program immediately follows the Family Eucharist for all children from Pre-K through fifth grade. Crafts, activities, songs and games for half an hour -- from 945 to 1015 am -- communicate the essence of God's love and the simple lessons of our faith.
Godly Play is our newest Sunday morning offering for kids. Godly
Play offers children whose families attend the 10:30 am service an
opportunity to engage with sacred scripture in their own sacred space.
Children meet downstairs in the Sunday School Classroom at 10:30 for a
Godly Play story, artistic response time, and "feast".
Throughout the year we also have numerous other activities of interest to parents and children, including
terrific summer day-camps like Vacation Bible School, Arts Camp, and Peace Planet. We also offer youth baptism and confirmation classes. For further information on any of these programs or classes, please contact our Rector Jim Ward.
