St. Stephen’s Church
has an active and vibrant Youth Program which engages youth grades 6-12
in a variety of spiritual, social, and service opportunities.
In addition to weekly
worship and participation in periodic service projects, “overnights” and
retreats, our high school youth spend each year in enthusiastic
preparation for their annual participation in a summer workcamp!
Each year high school youth from St. Stephen’s prepare for the workcamp through monthly
meetings and fundraisers. At workcamp, youth have the
opportunity to deepen their friendships and relationship with God, while
providing much needed home repairs for needy families and individuals.
This summer St. Stephen's high school youth will be partnering with the
high school youth from St. John's, Ross and Youthworks to do urban
service work in Vancouver, Canada from June 16-22. For more
information on this summer's workcamp program, visit

Confirmation
Preparation for Youth (Grades 8 and up) begins each year in September,
and continues through mid-June. The Confirmation Preparation
program at St. Stephen’s focuses on an exploration of the Baptismal
Covenant, and requires students to participate in a variety of classes,
worship services, retreats, and service projects. In order to
most fully support youth and families in the program, parents of
Confirmation students participate in a concurrent “Adult Commitment”
class. ` |
